10-DAY WRITING CHALLENGE
The VIRS Writing Challenge is designed to help faculty and postdocs sustain consistent writing habits during the busy mid-semester period when competing demands make it especially difficult to find time for scholarship. The goal of the Challenge is to write for at least 30 minutes a day over 10 consecutive weekdays. For flexibility, the program is virtual and asynchronous. Participation is open to all TikTok成人版 faculty and postdocs.
How It Works
The Writing Challenge promotes writing consistency through gamification. The 鈥渃hallenge鈥 is to write 30 minutes a day for 10 consecutive weekdays; more than 30 minutes is welcome but not expected. Participants are free to work on any project or set of projects that will help them meet their writing objectives.
Participants earn credit by 鈥渃locking in鈥 daily to VIRS鈥檚 Clockify platform鈥攁 browser-based timer that functions like a timesheet. It records the duration of each writing session and shares that data with VIRS for accountability. At the end of the challenge period, VIRS will recognize participants with Clockify logs of at least 30 minutes per day.
Important: Clockify is a timer only. It does not connect to writing applications, and participants do not upload or share their writing.
All registered participants will receive an invitation to join the VIRS Clockify Team one week before the challenge begins, along with detailed login and usage instructions. Optional Zoom orientations will be available for live onboarding and troubleshooting.
